Welcome to Web Host Magazine & Buyer's Guide
Hi I'm Ron Dunlap, founder of Web Host Magazine &
Buyer's Guide. We've been testing and reviewing Web Hosts and Host
Finder sites since the mid-90's and we've seen thousands of companies,
good and bad. We built this Web site to help you find the best Web
Hosting services for your needs. We test Web Host services and plans from Web Hosts, participate in the best Hosting
Forums online, read what other Host Finder sites say, and talk to as
many people as we can to learn all we can, in order to make sure that

There sales started in support? Bob didn't know what a cname was, when I asked if they supported cnames. Said I could ask tech, but I had to be a customer first., by Brian Olson

I agree that the laurels described here were well-deserved - AT THAT TIME. Crystal Tech TODAY is a much different story.
Support is seriously lacking. You will find yourself receiving such milk-toast responses as "The server is working..." when you can't access your site or "Oh, we implemented a new security feature..." The one-liner responses nowadays actually has me looking for a new webhos, by Nate Goldberg

Excellent service, great support and 100% uptime - Support staff are helpful and friendly - highly recommended., by Mark Taylor

Slow and uncooperative support, they lost my site on their last server upgrade (3/2008). 100% uptime is laughable; it plain doesn't happen. Finally got them to set up a new space on another server for me, but it is inaccessible and the few pages restored are corrupt. Still waiting to hear from them on this issue. Thumbs down for FPWEB hosting for me. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. , by Lea

They give a very good service, but some for some addon the prices are very high, like the Mssql databases. , by Ran A.

We took your advice and signed up with Spry. Their service has been non-existent, they have unresolved technical issues and have been unwilling to help us because we only pay $7 a month. Their initial setup isn't working and their supposed excellent service takes 2 days at least from a ticket being started, then is simple a cut and paste of unhelpful garbage. 2 weeks on and still we are nowhere. , by Neil Peel

I too, am very displeased with FPWEB Hosting. They lost our web page during the last hardware upgrade and didn't have a full backup from before the crash. We got no apology and when I pleaded with them to restore our site, they restored only half of it and most of the data was corrupt. Now I'm having to start all over again from scratch! We lost a lot of data!, by Dan
