The Editor's Choice Award
Our Web Host Magazine & Buyer's Guide Editors' Choice Award's are given to those Web Host industry companies that provide services and products that we deem to be above and beyond that of their peers. The Editors' Choice Awards are chosen by the editors of Web Host Magazine & Buyer's Guide in part from our review rating criteria, along with input from our independent review panel, reader's reviews, and other factors.
Because of that, we know the Web Host Magazine & Buyer's Guide Editors' Choice Award below is well deserved.

à la Carte Server Management |
There are a lot of managed and dedicated hosts out there. So many it’s hard to tell the differences between them all. What most grabbed our attention about SingleHop was the à la Carte Server Management options. Say you know MySQL and Apache thoroughly and can handle the support required for those yourself, with SingleHop you don't have to pay for the support for either. Pick what you need and leave the rest behind. Due to this you can get managed hosting on your own dedicated server for the fraction of the cost. SingleHop also uses servers with lowered power requirements and pass on the energy savings to their customers. Lower cost, à la carte management services, good selection, and helping the environment in one go. That makes them an Editors' Choice award winner in our book.
For their à la Carte Server Management service and lowered power usage, SingleHop receives an Editors' Choice Award for November 2007.

Important Note: Due to abuse by some Web Hosts erroneously displaying our Editors' Choice Award logos on their web sites, all Web Host Magazine & Buyer's Guide Editors' Choice Awards prior to April 2002 are not valid. The selection, testing and evaluation process we currently use is so drastically different than any we have used in the past that all other Editors' Choice awards are no longer recognized by our company or our affiliates. If you see an Editors' Choice award on a site, check it against the Editors' Choice winners we currently list online from April 2002 to present. If that award is not listed then it is no longer valid.
