Important Tip
It is important to know that in almost every case we purchase the Web Hosting services we review through a blind account (that is, the Web Host does not know we are testing them so they cannot make our Web Hosting services better than someone elses) and we maintain the Web Host account long enough to monitor all the criteria we need to test, and then continue that Hosting account until we are satisfied that our results are accurate.
The only reason we would not buy the Web Hosting services we test is because we have access to the services through a third party, and can test the services in our same, methodical and unbiased manner.

Verdict: If you are looking for Unix-based hosting with a bit more power, but not overly expensive, Jumpline.com may have what you are looking for. But if you are looking for high-grade Unix-based hosting, their Virtual Dedicated Server hosting solutions give you more flexibility than traditional virtual hosting as well as increased security.

Verdict: Fluid Hosting is a solid VPS host. Lots of Web space, monthly data transfer, features, and very good hardware through out. Our Independent Review Panel thought the plans were a little bit expensive and would have liked 24/7 phone support. Aside from those two small areas, Fluid Hosting is an excellent host.

Verdict: VPSLink is pretty solid provider that offers inexpensive self service VPS solutions to fit most uses. They have several plans from a more powerful budget styled account to the more robust dedicated type account in a VPS shell. All of this comes backed with reliability. Why use customer service if you don't have to.
