| Hello. My name
is Simon. I'm a programmer working for an unnamed Fortune 500 company. I feel
like I work in the basement. My cubicle is in an open office area without
windows... So life can get a little boring. Because of that, I do a lot of
outside web based consulting work. While looking for a Web Host about a year
ago, I saw a small ad on Web Host Magazine & Buyer's Guide asking people to
consider reviewing for them. I clicked on it and after going through a set of
emails and a series of questions, including a phone call or two, I was offered
the chance to join the team and I accepted.
Now I get to look at all types of Web Hosts and Web
Host List sites each month and offer my opinions. It helps me in my personal Web
consulting work because I have an edge over others who do not study the industry
like I do. So, I like it, but I hate some of the flaming we get sometimes. What
is it about "opinion" that you don't understand? I'll listen to your
opinions, but not your flames. |
