Kelly. I'm a mother and a Web Developer in that order. I have been working in
the Web industry for 6 years and have a pretty good practical knowledge of the
issues and the technology changes the industry has gone through since 1994. I
used to resell Web Host services and had to hop around from Host to Host looking
for one that could handle all the nuances of my clients. I quit doing that when
it became too much of a hassle.
I have had great Hosts and bad Hosts and I think my
experience lends a very critical eye to my reviewing. I volunteer my time
because it disciplines me to keep up on the industry as I am always asked by my
peers and my clients to recommend Hosting services. What better way to keep up
on this than to be on the Web Host Magazine & Buyer's Guide review
panel?
I might mention that I have been reviewing with Web
Host Magazine & Buyer's Guide for a little over a year now. Sometimes its
easy. Sometimes it's not. I think it depends on what's going on in my son's
school year :). Despite that, I enjoy it overall despite my busy
schedule.
