Below is our review for WebStrike Solutions. It is based on our ten plus years of experience reviewing Web Hosts and Host Finders. That's right. The absolute BEST way to review Web Host services is by actually using those services and comparing them to other Web Host services that have been similarly tested with the same testing criteria. We do these tests using an anonymous account so the Web Hosts will not treat us any differently than any other customer. Our process is expensive, but it is what we do because we want to be the best, and we want you to have the best information possible.

Here's a Tip for you: We have never accepted money to give a company a better rating. Our reputation is more important than that. However, even though the vast majority of the "top 10" review type sites you see in the search engines appear to be genuine, they actually base their lists of "Top Hosting Companies" on the affiliate rates (or other advertising revenue) they receive from the companies they list. The Web Hosts they list may be good but the rating method used is faulty. In our opinion, you should NEVER trust those types of review and rating sites.

Overview:
Web space and monthly data transfer are slightly above the industry average. Features are well-rounded for both Web plans and include support for CGI-BIN, SSL, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP4, JSP, FrontPage extensions, Perl 5, and a lot more.

One of the most amazing features about Webstrike Solutions is the price. The first year of hosting is free and after that first year, plans cost eight dollars a month (less than seven if you resell). Plans come with what normally would be considered a large setup fee ($30). However, when you consider this is the only bill you pay for a whole year's worth of hosting, the setup fee is actually very reasonable. This deal is especially good for resellers.

Previously, support was handled via a ticket support system with extra help available through forums and all trouble tickets (email is forwarded through the ticket system) are answered during office hours. Webstrike Solutions has revamped their support since then by changing email support times to be 24/7. Also live chat support has been added during extended officer hours.

We have long held that 24/7 toll-free phones answered promptly by a knowledgeable staff is the pinnacle of support excellence. As Web sites continue to become more advanced and Web developers become more program savvy the need for true 24 hour support continues to climb.

Webstrike Solutions' Terms and Conditions page was a breath of fresh air to our Independent Review Panel. Like most Web Host's Terms of Usage pages, Webstrike's terms spell out the necessary usage standards, but do so without the ambiguity of "lawyer speek." In fact, the terms page spells out everything in easy to read English. Our Independent Review Panel wishes more Hosts follow Webstrike's lead.

Verdict:
Webstrike Solutions has a lot of finer qualities and are only held back by their lack of support options and some form of 24/7 customer service. However, if phone support is not a major factor with you or if you are looking for a good, low-cost Web host for personal and small business Web sites or for reselling, look up Webstrike Solutions.

"I too was searching for a good web host and came up with webstrike solutions. My friend has a site there - its owned by a small ISV just started here in India a couple of yrs back and they've had their site (smcsindia.com) since then.

I had to make some updates on that site sometime and I found that its really not bad at all. They keep updating their versions of PHP (now 5.x) and MySQL.

It seems good - if you have anymore feedback on them (since you posted this almost a yr ago) then please let me know."

"I'm going to have to recommend Webstrike Solutions. I've had an excellent experience with them, and the support is outstanding. They claim their network is never running at more than 50% capacity, and I believe they're right. A friend of mine logged into my site via FTP at 981 KB/second! I also greatly exceeded my disk space and transferred more than 2 GB/day for more than a week, but it didn't affect the site's performance at all! On top of all that, your first 12 months are free."
