what we do because we want to be the best, and we want you to have the
best information possible.

Here's a Tip for you: We have never accepted money to give a
company a better rating. Our reputation is more important than that.
However, even though the vast majority of the "top
10" review type sites you see in the search engines appear to be genuine, they
actually base their lists of "Top Hosting Companies" on the affiliate
rates (or other advertising revenue) they
receive from the companies they list. The Web Hosts they list may be
good but the rating method used is faulty.
In our opinion, you should NEVER trust those types of review and rating
sites.

PlanetHosting is a no-nonsense Host. Using Windows 2003 based servers and a sound network, PlanetHosting has carved a niche for themselves.
When last we reviewed PlanetHosting (January of 2006) our Independent Review Panel liked their robust single plan hosting they have since branched into several available plans. However they have the same features and support as before. Unfortunately the bandwidth and web space hasn't increased.
PlanetHosting offers Standard, corporate, E-commerce as well as support for various Dedicated solutions. While providing a lot of features, PlanetHosting also includes 600 MB of Web space with their plan. We were a little disappointed with the 3 GBs of data transfer. If you were to take full advantage of PlanetHosting's multimedia support and the generous Web space, 3 GBs can be used fairly quickly. Upgrades for Web space and bandwidth are a little on the pricey side as well.
PlanetHosting offers good support from friendly professionals. 24/7 email support is handled promptly and thoroughly. The PlanetHosting support team also took the time to help us with a few programming problems. We frown at the lack of phone support, but PlanetHosting does an amazing job with just email support. Along with good customer service, they also have a strong network. The PlanetHosting network is connected to six backbone connections.
Instead of providing a 30-day money back guarantee, PlanetHosting offers a 30-day free trial. For the first thirty days you pay nothing. It allows you the chance to try their services without a commitment.
Verdict:
PlanetHosting is an excellent NT Host. They combine a quality network, excellent technical and customer support, and robust features. For those who are interested in finding an NT Host, check out PlanetHosting, they are well worth the visit.
