what we do because we want to be the best, and we want you to have the
best information possible.

Here's a Tip for you: We have never accepted money to give a
company a better rating. Our reputation is more important than that.
However, even though the vast majority of the "top
10" review type sites you see in the search engines appear to be genuine, they
actually base their lists of "Top Hosting Companies" on the affiliate
rates (or other advertising revenue) they
receive from the companies they list. The Web Hosts they list may be
good but the rating method used is faulty.
In our opinion, you should NEVER trust those types of review and rating
sites.

Overview:
When last we reviewed HostMySite.com (December of 2005) our Independent Review Panel enjoyed the high grade hardware and tons of features but previously, our Independent Review Panel thought that there should be monthly billing options. However, HostMySite.com hasn't changed this yet.
Hardware used at HostMySite.com is high quality throughout. Even the low-cost hosting plans utilize dual processor Xeon web servers with SCSI Raid hot-swappable hard drives. Although low-end Web sites will rarely see the added power, the dual Xeon chips really make a difference when using server technologies such as ColdFusion. The network uses Cisco 7200 series core routers and carries multiple Tier 1 Internet connections to ensure network uptime.
Support at HostMySite.com is run using 24/7 toll free phone, email, and live chat support. Responsive, polite, professional, and knowledgeable, the support at HostMySite.com falls in the upper percentile of Web Hosts support teams. Take a bow HostMySite.com.
As far as ColdFusion support, they are very flexible and can upgrade or downgrade accounts quickly, with your authorization. They have experts on hand that can help you with code, but like many CF hosts, do not provide much in the way of pre-made scripts for your use. They will also give you the CF license, however if you went with their virtual private server option you provide the license with their help.
Our Independent Review Panel was unsatisfied in one department. Virtual plans require a minimum contract of 3 months. Our Independent Review Panel maintains that the option for a month to month contract should be included. We know from the feedback we get from developers and from our experience in the industry, most users prefer the option to pay month to month because it gives them a feeling of security by not being locked in to a long term contract.
Verdict:
HostMySite.com offers excellent, responsive support and a long list of features from the quality of the hardware to the supported technologies. HostMySite.com is a solid company with a long track record of excellence. If you are looking for a high Grade Web Host check out HostMySite.com.

"To replace Pair as our #1 'single site' host takes an exceptional effort, but these guys have been awesome throughout. We signed up 15 months ago with a nuke site on their Linux platform. First off, they spent 30 mins on the phone with us to help us get it going: all issues due to our own lack of basic Linux knowledge. On $7.95 per month that's well beyond the call of duty! Actually, they went well beyond the call of duty, in my opinion. They have been of great assistance getting everything set up. Believe it or not, they pointed out how I could rearrange my package and pay LESS. No SQL issues and I can use Enterprise Manager! Now we're just waiting on that domain thing

"I took the plunge and have been with them for a few days and have been very, very pleased. The people there are great to deal with and for SQL Server and ColdFusion hosting there prices are good I think. They aren't the cheapest, but I've been with the cheapest and its pretty bad.
