Uplinkearth is a one-stop shop for Web developers and caters to both the Web savvy and the Web amateur. Uplinkearth provides Windows NT based Hosting, Web Developer tools, marketing consulting, Web site design, and more. Uplinkearth's Windows based Web hosting plans include Budget, Database, Dedicated, Reseller, and other Full Service hosting solutions with a large array of goodies.
When last we reviewed Uplinkearth (October of 2005) our Independent Review Panel Loved the web space (well above industry standards), costs, toll free phone support, data transfer, they were not disappointed in any aspect of Uplinkearth. Our Independent Review Panel was very happy to find out that Uplinkearth is still giving the same great plans for the money without a lack of the previous support.
Uplinkearth's Web hosting offerings are packed with features. Every plan (including their $4.95 a month "micro" plan) includes support for the following technologies ASP, SSI, MS Access, Front Page 2002, Flash, Shockwave, Real Media, ColdFusion 5 and more. Mid-level plans also include ASP.NET, MySQL, Perl, PHP, multiple full and sub-domain support, and more.
Along with their impressive list of features, Uplinkearth also provides plenty of Web space and Data Transfer. Both are well above the industry average.
Support at Uplinkearth is handled two ways: support tickets and extended hours toll free phone support. Support tickets are answered 24 hours a day 365 days out of the year. Our Independent Review Panel was amazed at the speed at which support tickets were answered. Support replies were also both professional and courteous. To augment their support ticket system, Uplinkearth also employs toll-free (within the US), extended, office hour phone support (phone support not available with the micro plan).
Uplinkearth also provides other services on top of their Web hosting solutions. Branding strategy and design, database design, shopping cart design, Web site creation, and more are offered by Uplinkearth's team of professionals providing a one-stop shop for Web developers.
Verdict:
Uplinkearth offers good support, plenty of features, and aggressively priced hosting solutions. If you are looking for an Enterprise Host check out Uplinkearth.

"i have been pleased overall with the level of service and features that they offer. i originally went to uplinkearth for the excellent value and the range of features on their virtual hosting plans - and their very professionally looking site impressed me. at the time, there was not too much on them in terms of comments like on this forum, so i was a little nervous. i was a little skeptical about relying primarily on a email ticket system and hours that were less than 24/7 (had been with Interland before), but my fears were allayed with their fairly quick responses (0.5-2.0 hours usually) and that many times, their techies work late into the night and on weekend, and will answer tickets if they are around it seems. many thanks to Al and Eileen and others there that have joined the team in providing me assistance. they have also increase their business hours since i originally signed up too.
overall, i give them credit for a job well done - i have had a good experience with them and would recommend them to most everyone looking for a great value for similar virtual hosting as long as the features they offer with their plans match your needs for your site."

"Uplinkearth has been quite a good host for several of site I have worked on.
I have set up 4 different websites with them and am very happy with their support firstly and pretty happy with the uptime. There have been a few outages, quite minimal though and they have always told us in advance. No unscheduled ones that I can recollect.
Re: the 10 mb email - this was also an issue for us, but they are happy to group email accounts to make it one big one.. Ie..if you have one of the larger plans and are allowed some 25 email addresses, you can ask to have only 5 with 50mbs of space instead. This proved a good answer for us. Perhaps something they should make clear in their price chart.
Support has been the best part about them.. a couple of hours has almost always been my experience.. and I am operating from Australia, so it must be the middle of the night there! I'm pretty sure they do operate 24/7 from this experience."
